Been there about 20 times. Mostly lunches.

My first time there I had a nabeyaki udon there for dinner, and I paid $14 for it. That is not really a good impression at all since it is quite overpriced (although they have a live clamin the kettle pot for the udon but still not too worth it)

But then when I am back for lunch, my opinion towards the restaurant changed for a whole lot. Their lunch sets are really good and really flexible in terms of getting what you wanted. They have a self-select set lunch in which you can choose 1 entree and 1 side of our choice. They have a wide and good selection of both which makes me happy (and indecisive) every time I went and have to decide what to order. The vegetable kerokke is good and they have a funny typo for 2 years - (egg and pork fiend don, supposedly egg and pork friend don). I always got a good laugh in that with my friends.

The lunch bento is also good although I think th self selection is better at $8.95. The chirashi is also pretty good at $10.95. The waiters and waitresses are friendly.

Dinners are priced at a double and the quality is sometimes worse the the lunch, which I can't really seems to understand. Please reconsider if you want to dine there for dinner.

Good:
Lunch are good-valued, fish are pretty fresh, entrees are done well
Bad: Dinners are over-priced

Conclusion: Go there for lunch, don't go there for dinner.

Verdict: B+
